In this section, you will find basic information about the weather vocabulary. Then you will see several links about the weather. 

First of all, we have to say that the weather is determined for the season. For example, normally in summer is hot and the sun comes out always.

There are four seasons. Each season is spread over three months. - A Anglaterra hi ha quatre estacions. Cada estació comprèn tres mesos.
 

SPRING (PRIMAVERA) includes MARCH (MARÇ), APRIL (ABRIL) and MAY (MAIG).

In spring the days grow longer, the weather is warm but sometimes it rains and very windy.
 

SUMMER (ESTIU) includes JUNE (JUNY), JULY (JULIOL) and AUGUST (AGOST).

In summer the days are long, the weather is so warm and sometimes even hot.
 

AUTUMN (TARDOR) includes SEPTEMBER (SETEMBRE), OCTOBER (OCTUBRE) and NOVEMBER (NOVEMBRE).

In autumn the days get shorter, it gets colder and the leaves fall from the trees.
 

WINTER (HIVERN) includes DECEMBER (DESEMBRE), JANUARY (GENER) and FEBRUARY (FEBRER).

In winter the days are short, it's generally cold and sometimes it snows.

	The sun is shining - El sol està brillant		It's drizzling - Està ploviscant
	The wind is blowing - El vent està bufant		It's raining (The rain is falling) - Està plovent
	It's hailing - Està pedregant		It's pouring (The rain is pouring down) - Està plovent molt fort
	It's snowing (The snow is falling) - Està nevant		It's thundering - Està tronant

We may also use adjectives to describe the weather:

	Sweltering = It's sweltering or It's a sweltering day - És un dia sufocant		Freezing = It's freezing or It's a freezing day - Fa molt fred
	Warm = It's warn or It's a warm day - És un dia càlid		Cold = It's cold or It's a cold day - És un dia fred
	Sunny = It's sunny or It's a sunny day - És un dia solejat		Cloudy = It's cloudy or It's a cloudy day - Està ennuvolat
	Clear = It's clear or It's a clear day - És un dia clar		Stormy = It's stormy or It's a stormy day - És un dia de tempesta
	Misty = It's misty or It's a misty day - És un dia boirós		Foggy = It's foggy or It's a foggy day - És un dia de boira
	Breezy = It's breezy or It's a breezy day - És un dia ventós		Windy = It's windy or It's a windy day - És un dia de vent
